Lou & I had the pleasure of joining DAMFISHERMAN & LakeLass on Hubbard tonight to learn more about banking the yellow cats. The education process quickly became active as soon as the sun went down! Live Perch were all set out to send out their S.O.S. ( Somethin' Oughta Slam) call as Melanie stated it . A short while later the Shimano drag started to scream and I ended up with my Flathead PB jumping from 10lbs to 58lbs! The bite stayed pretty steady through most of the night with us landing a 34lb, 46lb, 37lb & 40lb yellowcats with an 8lb largemouth bass and a 26lb bluecat caught in the mix as well. Definitely an Awesome night of fishing out there ! The 58 & 46 came off of the PAT bank rod and absolutely did a Great job in fighting the fish! Can't wait to pick up a few more of those rods once they get in. A huge Thanks to Dustin for teaching us quite a few new things and opening our eyes to alot of new concepts. Thanks a bunch Bro! That was one heckuva fun night of fishing & still just trying to soak it all in!
